In this new Featured Artist collection for May, painter Debbie Lush takes us walking towards the West, mapping the landscape and capturing the inspirational colours and textures of scenes along the way. Translating the reality of what she sees into bright, imaginary, almost illustrative compositions, Debbie heightens the beauty and colour of the South West landscape, adding an uplifting and romantic sense of charm and joy. Debbie studied illustration at the Royal College of Art and now lives and works at her studio in East Devon.
