This new work celebrates Suki’s love of the spectacular North Cornwall landscape where she has lived and worked for more than two decades.
Inspired by her daily walks along the Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Port Isaac coastline, the exhibition includes medium and large scale works, as well as an intimate series of 20x20cm vignettes, that reflect the beauty and unique light of the landscape. In these works, the peace and tranquillity of sand, sea and sky are defined through muted grey and blue tones in sweeping applications of oil colour, freely applied with a palette knife and brush.
