For this month’s Virtual Showcase, we present a new collection by Cornishman John Brenton, ahead of a larger body of work to be shown this August as part of our Featured Artist series.
Born in 1964, John has established himself as a leading British land and seascape artist. Painting in his preferred medium of oil paint, he employs a technique that uses both palette knife and brush, resulting in the richly textured, vibrant style that he is renowned for.
John has held regular solo exhibitions throughout the UK and has been selected for exhibition at the Royal Academy Summer Show, the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Society of Oil Painters. His works are collected across the UK and worldwide.
