Overview

Polzeath born ceramicist Jazmin Meneer was drawn to pottery through her desire for a life of focused creativity and mindfulness. At Slow Living Studio, her shepherd hut located in the quiet countryside at Marhamchurch near Bude, Jazmin creates subtle stoneware pottery, in muted tones and organic textures.

Her wheel-thrown vessels embody the principles of Wabi-Sabi, with raw, earthy aesthetics enhanced by the delicate art of pine needle weaving. She also produces functional tableware inspired by the daily rituals of life, and embracing the joy that can be found in small, intentional moments.
